Do I need a visa to visit Kenya?+
Most travelers require an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before arrival. Apply online at etakenya.go.ke at least 3 days before travel.
How long does eTA approval take?+
Standard processing is up to 3 business days. We recommend applying at least one week before your trip.
What documents are required?+
A passport valid for at least 6 months, return ticket, proof of accommodation and a recent passport-size photograph.
Is yellow fever vaccination required?+
Yes — proof of yellow fever vaccination is required for travelers arriving from countries with risk of transmission.
Can I extend my stay in Kenya?+
Yes, visit any Immigration office in Kenya. Standard eTA is valid for 90 days and may be extended once.
